Personal and household support
A personal assistant takes the logistics of daily life off your hands, so your time goes to the things only you can do. For busy families and households, a personal assistant keeps schedules, errands and administration running smoothly — often as the link between the family and the rest of the household staff.
What a personal assistant does
Every role is shaped around the family. Responsibilities can include:
- Managing calendars, appointments and reminders
- Planning and booking travel
- Running errands and handling deliveries
- Household administration: correspondence, vendors, services and paperwork
- Coordinating with other household staff
- Planning and preparing for events and gatherings
- Background checked
- Referenced
- Interviewed in person
Discretion comes first
A personal assistant is trusted with your schedule, your home and often your private information. We present candidates chosen for discretion and judgment as much as for skill, and each one is background checked, referenced and interviewed in person.
Finding the right assistant
During your consultation we learn how your household runs, what you want to hand over and the schedule you need. We then present assistants who match, and you interview the candidates you are considering. Learn more about how placement works.
Frequently asked questions
How does the placement fee work?
Members pay their annual membership and an 8% placement fee on each hire, where a traditional agency typically charges an initiation fee plus 25%. For individual services outside a membership, we explain the fees during your consultation, before any search begins.
What happens if the caregiver is not the right fit?
Tell us as soon as you can. We will talk through what is not working and what you need instead, and support you in finding a better match under the terms of your service or membership. Members have 24/7 support throughout the year.
